What is your cola of choice?

Although I presently am doing the Dew, I prefer RC as well. Can't even find it where I live and by it when I'm 'abroad.'

My all time favorite is cheerwine but it's only available in a few states plus its technically not a cola

Hehe...I knocked back a few cheerwines when I was in NC visiting the inlaws last weekend. Good stuff, but not available in Atlanta (dammit). Coke is my weapon of choice most of the time cola-wise.

i'll second what bulldawg said...if no Dew, then Coke please.

And what is it with these restaurants that carry Pepsi products, so then I order a Dew, and they tell me they don't have that?!?!? Uh, then what's the point of carrying Pepsi products in the first place, since Coke is obviously a superior cola to Pepsi! 😉

Give me a Dew!

<< Dr Pepper isn't a cola >>

I always thought dr pepper was a cherry coke alternative. Tastes like cherry coke to me.

Nope, Dr. Pepper is a Mr. Pibb alternative. Cherry Pepsi is the Cherry Coke alternative. I prefer Coca-Cola Classic (caffeinated of course) myself. Pepsi is too sweet and it always tastes flat to me.

I love Cheerwine! I never knew that it's not available in other states, found that out the embarrassing way when I went to visit my relatives in Michigan.
Me: "Uh waiter, can I have a Cheerwine?"
Him: "What's a Cheerwine?"
Me: "it's like Cherry coke except better"
Him: "Never heard of it"
Me: "Well can I have some sweet tea?"
Him: "We only have unsweetened"
Me: "Bastard!", j/k, "Doh!"

Yo,
My cola of choice was Coca-Cola, before they reformulated it back around 1985. Fond memories of drinking the old Coke while munching a bag of Lay's potato chips.

In the early days, they used to use real sugar, which gave it a better flavor... not sure how to describe it... sort of like it had a sharper, crisper taste... more of a bite.

After the backlash over the new Coke, they brought back "coke classic" and eventually the new Coke was phased out.

Some say that you can get the old Coca-Cola by buying the Coca-Cola from Mexico and I have, it's not the same.
