I'm at 29C/84F on my air cool Duron.
System temp is 30C
I can get this much lower if i switch to my old socket 7 Cyrix MII300 and even lower on a K6-2 400 and probably room temperature on the Pentium 133.

Room temperature right now is about 68F in my room

Does anybody have one of those newer Cyrix chips, I heard those run really cool.

Board temp is 40c and CPU is 50c. This is running an overclocked P4 2.2ghz at 1.7v with SETI at full pelt though :)

Am I right in thinking my board temp is a bit too high :(

I've got a coolermaster case with 4 case fans. Not quite sure why it's this high..

where exactly is the thermal diode that reads the system temp?
Wish I can attach one of my old socket7 heatsinks on the chipsets

You guys are comfortable with 50C+ temperatures. Wow, I remember when I use to freak out when I saw 40C.
I guess 50C is like running your pc in Arizona without any ac in the room.

CPU temp: 59c on my oc'd t-bird
System temp: 38c

I need to put on some new thermal paste because it should be running in the low 50's.

Duron 750 @ 120F with a HSF with a rheostat and only a PSU fan. Usually runs around 114, hmm. If I turn the rheostat all the way up and it's a cooler day in the winter (I live in Fla, a cool day is 65) I go below 100.

I don't know. My old-ass motherboard doesn't support CPU temp monitoring, but because this thread had me curious I rebooted and checked the system temp through BIOS. 107F (42C) in the case! It must be about 90F here in my living room. And I still can?t justify buying myself a window AC, because I?m such a tough guy, ha ha!

My system (OC'd Celly 566 at 850) running XP just BSOD'd.

I'm turning this sucker off until tonight. Sorry, SETI team!
