The cheddar lovers might want to try Canadian Cheddar. It has a better flavor than most American cheddars, imo, but it's not as pungent.

I love Chedarella myself. Only kind of cheese I buy now. As the name suggests, it's cheddar and mozzarella marbled together into one semi-soft cheese. Sooooo good.

There aren't many I don't like either... although anything with dill in it is not my favorite, and I've never tried some of the really stinky cheeses like Limburger, which I've heard is DEFINITELY an acquired taste.

I think many of our cheeses here in the U.S. are relatively bland compared to their European counterparts, though.
