What is wrong with my side?

techs

Lifer
A couple of weeks ago my right side started hurting, just below the ribs. I thought I had pulled something shoveling snow but its now 2 weeks and its no better. It doesn't feel like a muscle pull but feels like something inside is hurting. When I push in under my rib cage it hurts.
Am I dying?

Try a doctor, I find they can be helpful, could be a hernia

Doctor, stat. Could be your appendix, or not - but it certainly isn't normal.

An appendix? I don't know what kind of tragic mutation you have, but the appendix doesn't sit anywhere near the ribcage in a normal human. I think your horrid situation is far more urgent than his.

it could be a diaphragm hernia. Where a tear in you diaphragm causes your intestine to bulge into your abdomen. your source of pain seems a little high up for this, but you never know.

It could also be a very bad muscle strain. it could take a couple weeks for those to heal completely.

But i am no doctor. I would go see one if I were you.

the spider nest that was laid in in your abdomen while you were sleeping is hatching. little baby spiders are slowly devouring you from the inside-out.

best to call John Goodman.

def. not the appendix, you would not be able to go 2 weeks in that pain. Mine nearly burst after 5 hours in the hospital waiting room.
