What is wrong with freight carriers these days?

Had two packages to be delivered today from separate locations via Fedx. the only tracking # I had for one package showed delivered to front door. No package, called and they said to call back in the am when they could ask the driver where he or she delivered the package. I am almost certain they delivered to the wrong addy. I hope I have honest neighbors, or I am out of some serious money, if not insured.

This isn't just Fedx, but I have had the same problem with UPS whom said they couldn't find my addy,, and the worst, DHL, which lost my package, and another package took a week and a half to get here when I paid for 2 day.

Over the past 15 years I have never had a problem with my street addy, or any kind of delivery problems. It's placed in two locations. I The shipping also appears to be slowing down a bunch. One week from NY to CO? And this was 3 business day delivery. I understand that shipping costs have risen dramatically.....but WTF? Total incompetence.

Maybe you used stupid abbreviations like "addy" over and over and over again when filling out your address and they couldn't find it.

LOL. It's not the carriers, it's people in general that have gotten stupid. I hate to say it, but esp. younger people.

We've heard all of these same complaints time and time again. Its a wonder there aren't 25 thread a day about every who had their fast food order messed up that day.

Welcome to the world where not everything goes right people.

OP, this is not directed at you. Its very frustrating when a package doesn't arrive on time or is lost/stolen, hope it works out for you.

unions

.

?

!

...

There's no union for Fedex. Each driver is an owner-operator of his own truck, or a driver of a truck in a small franchise.

Oh wait, unions are to blame for all of this nation's problems

Correct. Ground/Home is franchised.

I had DHL swear up and down a package got delivered, it wasn't. The drive said it, was, so DHL washed their hands. 4 weeks later, it showed up on my doorstep
