What is wrong with Crucial?

Yesterday I tried to order 2 256MB PC2100 DDR from Crucial but it wouldn't let me place an order. I did the cookie removal thing about 10 time (closing the browser like it said), and it still said there was an error. I thought maybe I had to sign up first, well when I tried it could not even find the page. Has anyone else had this problem? I want to buy from them but if this is how it is there I'm starting to wonder if I should order from somewhere else.

if you're just trying to order instead of webpromoing it should work just fine without doing the cookie thing. where was the error encountered? when you added ram to the cart, when you were on the first page of checking out?

On the main page there is a list of different memory chips, including the one I want. When I click on the buy button it says:

<< We're Sorry!

An error has occurred. It could be a problem with your cookies. A cookie is a small piece of information that we use to keep track of what you place in your shopping cart. Without the cookie, we have no way of knowing which memory modules you want to buy. Please try to remove all Crucial cookies (so we can start over with a fresh batch) by visiting Crucial's cookie remover page. If the problem persists, please contact cruwebprog@micron.com.

🙁
When I try to login I clicked the login button at the top. It gives you the option to login, or if you are not a member yet it says you can sign up now. When I click to sign up it says "page cannot be displayed..."

Am I just doing something wrong?

All I have is IE. I can probably get on Navigator sometime tomorrow, but I don't know if the browser has anything to do with it. If so, alot of people would be having problems.

I'm using IE version 5.50...

I had got the order form after a few tries and all yesterday, but I had to go so I couldn't order. Now that I try again it won't let me. 🙁

Has this happened to anyone else?

It's not the Browser because I had it up the other day (once), I just never had the chance to order. I'll try rebooting and see if for some strange reason that should help.

Nope, didn't help. I e-mailed crucial, but this is the strangest thing. I've never had this happen anywhere else. I had somehow got it up once, but most of the time it won't let me. I am the only one this is happening to?! Figures...

I read there FAQ and it said that if it was saying "click" instead of "buy" then there was a problem w/my cookies. OK, I follow their steps to setting up my browser the way they like it and low and behold it still says "click". Any suggestions?

I am an IDIOT!!!!

After searching through there page I see where it says that if the date is wrong on your clock it won't work. Ok, I look down and my date is Monday, June 25, 2002!

I changed it back down to 2001 and I can now order. 🙂

BTW, what is a PM?
