What is with all the eye candy lately?

Now I admit, I like some eye candy. My post from yesterday attests to this. But I'm also one who likes plain and simple a lot. Probubly more than all the eye candy. Yet I'm seeing everything from computer games, to OS's (Linux, Mac, Windows, etc) to phones, advertisements, movies (some of this is ok, some is just lame) and all kinds of things. It's getting to a point where they are going to eye candy everyone to death. Do you think there's too much eye candy in most stuff out there? Too little? Just enough? Or does it really depend on the situation and tastes of the individual?

Springtime always brings out the eyecandy. Back when I was at UNC, I used to stick my webcam out the window and into the quad so y'all on ATOT could sample the eyecandy at my school! All these yummy girls laying out on the blanket face down, ass up with their bikini tops off...ahh the memories!!
