What is used to "un-perm" hair?

Nothing works well. There are a few options:
1) A true chemical straightener product which is weak and really does nothing. End result is nothing.
2) A heavy conditioner that weighs down your hair. Doesn't actually solve anything but can make your hair temporary look straighter. Of course you have to deal with the fact that you won't get light airy hairstyles.
3) A strong chemical straightener product. These actually alter the chemical bonds in your hair. Anything that does this also distroys your scalp. Most if not all of these products have been recalled or banned at one point in their life.
4) Straigtening irons - which I haven't heard of good ones.

Straightener?

Did this someone actualy get a perm or do they just have curly perm-like hair?

She permed her hair (naturally straight) once several months ago and recently decided to get it permed again. I have no idea what she was thinking but now it is frazzly (looks damaged) hair at best so she's trying to get the whole thing straightened out 😉.

Dullard, so the best solution would be to grow the hair out?
