The material used for real LV bags is pretty strong. Legend says that it was originally used for the subway trains in France. Yeah, kinda weird when you think of it... luggage made from the same stuff on Metro buses.Anyways, LV's been popular for a >looonnnggg< time. When I was in France in 2000 or 2001, LV stores limited all customers to >1< item per day. So, there'd be guys standing outside the stores asking passer-byers to go in and buy something for them. I've even heard of people running from one store to another, to bypass the 1-item rule. Funny what people will go through to be chic.
Funniest example of LV-spottage: Korean chick wearing an LV backpack at the top of Squaw (a ski resort in Northern California). Never thought I'd see someone wearing one while snowboarding.![]()
So it's French...that explains alot
A Korean having LV, surely you jest.
Nope, LV is very popular with Oriental and Asian women. I see it all the time in So Cal. I think we have the second largest Korean population in the world outside of Korea.
I think your sarcasm meter needs to be adjusted. Koreans are notoriously known for having to have the very latest fads and trendy things. Most Asians don't like to be called Orientals as well
