i swear i see a damn commercial advertising one of these women networks every 5 mins. feels like they are glorifying women every 5 mins.

oh and to make everything equal again, we need some channels glorifying us too 😉
 
Yeah those commercials really stink, I remember the first time I saw the baby one, My wife, My sister and my mom were all there, after the commercial was over they all were quite disgusted with it. It is just plain stupid. Alomost as bad as the "Truth about smoking" ones. They make me laugh!!!!!

i hardly think millions of idiotic tv channels is the limelight women deserve. there is absolutely nothing of substance on any of these channels, just a bunch of shows worshiping stupid (but famous) women.
 
let me add that weak women are the ones that watch those stations. truly strong women don't need to watch that crap to feel good about themselves.

I can't stand all these channels either. The guys who follow along with them and agree that it's time to give women the spotlight are pansies. First of all, why should women today get preferential treatment when they haven't really undergone any discrimination, and because of what guys did to women 500 years ago?

Reversal of treatment should only apply to the same person; not to their great grandkids... Should blacks be allowed to enslave whites now because of the slave trade hundreds of years ago, or should everyone just be treated equal from birth, without having to bear the consequences of history?

This whole PC/affirmative action deal is bullsh*t, and goes to show that those who support it by definition support discrimination and the very things they say they are against.
 
ESPN is NOT a men's channel..... It just happens that more men than women watch it. It never advertises it self as a woman-hating man channel made only for men, appealing only to men, etc.... And neither does the history channel, etc...

I hate whiners - and by this I'm talking about whiners who feel that they need to have their own TV channels just so that they can feel special. Sheesh...

(Whining about whiners as this topic refers to is not so bad.... (Cause and effect) )
