Hi,

Welcome to AnandTech Forums. Your previous posts show that I edited them because I tried to fix your image links.

The pic at your link are OK. Unfortunately, our system does not work with image links posted on posting.org. 🙁

We hope you enjoy yourself on our forums. 🙂

Looks like an infrared camera. It had proprietary connectors because it needs to go to a special viewer unit. You probably cant use it with your VCR or anything. Sorry.

Also, if you could please take it outside in the sunlight so your phone will use a faster shutter speed, we will tell you what the things on the back are for.

It really needs a real camera that has a macro mode so that the details around the switches and pots are in sharp focus. Also, what is the connector on the other end of the cord/cable?

That view shows me two different types of connectors - both shielded coax type, but not really common.

It would help to see the side view of them.

That camera even if it's actually the camera itself is proprietary. Look for model/serial/FCC/etc numbers on it and report back.

No dude, unless you have a halogen spot light or something, theres no way you can match sunlight inside your house. But we got the idea anyway.

I still think its an older infrared camera, and unless you have the video unit that came with it, you arent going to be using that thing.

no.
