What is this?

I've noticed this little item attach itself to my Start Menu in Windows XP Pro a couple of days ago. I've attached a picture.

I don't know when exactly it appeared... I think it quite possibly might of been from some stupid ExplorerPlus file explorer software. I always also playing around with Local Security Policity and settings in gpedit.msc the last couple of days trying to get my network functional (other PCs weren't able to connect). Clicking on it just opens the task manager. Any idea what it is and more importantly, how to get rid of it?

Can't see the pic, but Windows Security shows up on the start menu when you connect through Remote Desktop. It's an easy way to get to ctrl-alt-del (which opens taskmgr on a non domain joined machine), since that key combo doesn't work in RDP...ctrl-alt-end does though.

Hmmm...I usually get that Windows Secuirty icon (clicking it opens Task Manager IIRC) when I'm remote desktoping into Windows 2003 or Windows XP boxes.

Edit:

That's what it is. I was/am remoting into my desktop from work - I just *thought* I had seen it on my desktop at home. Was most likely mistaken - I'll check when I get home and post if it shows up when I'm logged on locally.

it allows you to click on the the security link and bring up what you want to do, like shut down etc.
