Maybe a silverfish. You'll have to google it. It won't kill you, but squeeze your butt cheeks together at night so he doesn't crawl in there.

From what google shows, silverfish have way less legs than what is in that pic. :(

I live in the city too, you dont see weird ass bugs like that here often.

I have seen those in my house before (usually during the summer) I think they are silverfish

That is definitely not a silverfish. I have seen those and also silverfish in my parents house. I forget what those are exactly but it is a type of centipede or millipede..

It's a centipede. Just kill it and be done with it. Or you could let it just go around eating other critters.

Just outta curiosity, are these harmful at all, like to a parrot? It was awfully close to my parrots cage.

from what I am reading no, infact they are beneficial eating flies, spiders and cockroaches.

If your parrot tried to eat it, it may get a painful bite or get sick. Since parrots are such sensitive birds (oh so I've heard), you may want to be cautious. Go ask a parrot forum.
