i clicked on my profile and just noticed that i have a "6" rating, what does that mean? is higher or lower better? why do some users have a rating and others don't?

Actually hzl_eyed_grl I have not rated you at all. I don't rate most people but when I do I tell you what I gave you. I was at the FatWallet forums and a lot of people got mad because I gave them ones even though I told them I did it just because I can. I told them they take it way to seriously.
