Found it... Its Lamb's Wool - I heard a man I served with in the military praise the stuff, I just couldn't remember what it was called, he said it works wonders on shoes or books that do not fit right or rub against certain parts of your feet causing blisters etc...

Its super durable and waterproof according to him too!

Lamb's Wool on amazon (I just ordered two bags.. now I need to figure out how to get it to stick to the insides of my shoes..)
