What is this Nvidia Desktop Explorer, and how do I get rid of it?

I just recently got a Visiontek TI4600 vid card, and upon installing it, noticed that it puts an icon on my desktop entitled "Desktop Explorer". I can't delete it, move it, or modify it. If I click on it, it fires up my Internet Browser and attempts to access the Net.

So far, my Zone Alarm has stopped it from phoning home, but I'd really like to get rid of this. Visiontek isn't interested in answering my repeated emails about it. Anyone know anything about this software?

Hello,

I have the same icon and mine appeared when I downloaded the latest Detonator drivers and I selected to enable the multiple desktops feature that is packaged with said drivers. Mine does not try to access the internet but opens the folder that contains the default and saved desktops that I created. It's a pretty good feature. Can't tell you how to get rid of it though.

I already do have nwiz.exe unchecked, with no apparent change in the program. It's still on the desktop, and I still can't get rid of it.
