What is this mongrel made up of?

The family is thinking something along the lines of a chihuahua & something else. She always gallops instead of runs, except when at full speed. She has a somewhat fluffy tail & has a longer then usual body(dachshund?)

Chiwawa <sp> and Doxon mix, maybe with some terrier. That is what my wife says. And she knows her dog stuff, so... Nice pic, by the way.

Daushounds (weiner dogs) were bred to chase rabbits down holes, that have short stubby legs like that dog. Coloring is lighter and the ears and stuff do look like a chihuahua's. Could have something else like a spanial mixed in but it's definately got daushound in it.

Yeah, her ankles face inwards a bit. She also has big paws(but she's not getitng much bigger.) Probably has something to do with all that prancing.

When she takes a bath & all that fur droops down, she looks just like my chihuahua; Scared & bug-eyed.
