What is this Lycoris Linux?

I was reading on a few sites like MSNBC about a Linux distro named Lycoris from http://www.lycoris.com and it seems to have basically everything a standard Linux distro has with some XP GUI added into it. Have any of you tried this? I still use Mandrake 8.2 and want to know if this is worth my time. thx

A freind told me that it sucked big time.. But I havn't tryed it myself, I use Debian GNU/Linux

I tried it, it was interesting, very ""Windows" like, but if you already know and are using drake sucessfully I would stay with it. Lycoris has a lot less features than the big distros but to it's credit that makes it easier to use.

It used to be called "Redmond Linux" and is geared toward very noobie type Linux users.

I think it is similar to Corel Linux in that it is easy to install but it lacks a lot of the functionality that most Linux users want.
