What is this (image) - is it dead?

So, I just got my brand new Rampage IV Formula. I was just taking a lot at the board, when this caught my eye near the right memory slot. It looks like a scratch on the lane or something.

Is it now dead.. what are the chances?

I know for a fact I never caused this, before anyone starts. Unfortunately I can't test it until tomorrow, when my chip arrives (4930K)

I'd love to name and shame the vendor but it's probably against the forum rules

don't look like it blew.look more like a drop of soldering.

Forgot to update the thread. I gently rubbed it off with alcohol and it came off. Now it looks fine

Whatever it was, very weird that it came like that brand new.

You sure that's "new"? That hole has marks that look like the board was screwed down there.
