What is this called?

Hey hey everybody 🙂
After 22 or so years, it's getting time to replace some things. One of them being whatever this is called in the pic. I "think" its called a door stop, but it may be a door jamb?

Oh, and of course, what in the world is that rubber/plastic gasket thing/stuff called - can't be something as simple as 'weatherstripping' lol. It looks like it slides down into a slot maybe. Or perhaps you attach it to the door stop/jamb before you attach the whole magilla to the frame.

Door jab, weather stripping and need a gutter to keep the rain from splashing up.

That's an exterior jamb. It's one milled piece so you can't pull off the "stop" part. I often see the bottom piece cut out and a small section replaced.
The weather strip is removable, grab the top edge and pull. Get a new piece from home depot and it will slide right into the existing slot.

I’m not sure what you mean by “ It’s one milled piece so you can’t remove the ‘stop’ part...”

I was looking online at Lowe’s and I can’t
seem to find just a single piece. But I do see a 3-piece kit ( 2 sides and 1 top ) for $30, and I’d have to buy at least 6 kits! Well, eff that lol. There has to be another option out there :/

They also have the whole kit for $20.
Door jambs come in two basic flavors, interior and exterior. Interior door jambs are a piece of flat wood with a stop nailed to it. Exterior jambs are milled out of one thick piece of wood, the stop part isn't nailed on, it's all one piece.

don't get the vinyl weatherstripping, when it gets cold it gets stiff and makes it harder to shut the door.
