i find em occasionally in my house.. never bothered to photograph one till now.
as a side note, if you want to live in the delusion that your walls are fairly clean, don't *ever* do macro-photography on objects on the wall.
it's maybe 1.5-2mm long.
scale?
Looks "fuzzy"....moth?
There's a smily face on it's back with a gotee.
Reminds me of a stink bug.

The color/pattern is different then we have here, but the shape looks like stink bug to me. Squash it, and see if it stinks. The smell actually isn't entirely unpleasant, but it's so cloying and pervasive, it's pretty bad.
They go in houses in the fall, and wakeup in the spring when it starts getting warm.
Stinkbugs have been a huge problem in the mid-Atlantic region the last couple years. They're an invasive species from Asia(go figure), and destroy fruit crops. I don't think they're particularly harmful from a homeowner perspective, but they''re irritating as hell, and can take over a house.I don't know if we even have stink bugs around here.
Does the smell attract other bugs (either other random bugs, or specifically more members of the same species) ?
I know the invasive "false ladybug" (Asian species I think) releases a smell when killed/smashed, that attracts more of the bastards if they are nearby (over time - it's not like they swarm the area once they learn a brother has been killed).
it is most definitely not a stink bug.It does indeed look like a stink bug, just a different pattern. Rub your finger against it's back and smell it. Or just smell it directly, but that's kinda risky putting a small bug that close to your nostril.
I think I killed every single bug in my house. Have not seen a bug since like September lol.
