Vegas is really boring there is nothing to do;)

Accually you could spend two days on the strip and not spend any money and see a ton of stuff!

Show outside treasure island, Ceasars used to have something, THe Venitian has an indoor mall that rocks,

Try to hit as many $7.95 Surf -n- Turf buffets as you can stomach...then walk around Vegas too stuffed to do anything but look for a place to sit every few hundred yards. ;-)

The best things to do in Vegas are:

1. Hold onto your wallet.

2. Get a good map to your next destination.

3. Load up on gas.

4. Leave!

Vegas is the tacky capital of the U.S. -- a dramatically ugly city built from the ground up for the single purpose of separating you from all of your money. :disgust:

The only reason I ever go there is to make money, for example, to attend a trade show in my field of work.

Yeah if it's hot it'll be bad, but there are a couple of Ferarri rental places. Can't run the A/C in the summer out there though (or so they said, luckily I was there in December). That and machine gun rentals are the only thing I really care about other than gambling (only do blackjack). Real money burners, but a hell of a lot more fun for me than the other stuff offered (don't care for shows, clubs, etc.). The Grand Canyon is cool if you take a plane flight (last I was there you could do it for like $90 and took about 2.5 hours, was pretty cool). Hoover dam is neat to visit, but when I was there most of it was off limits because of 9/11 :(

poon for pay is illegal in Las Vegas. That doesn't mean that it isn't readily available. You can pay to get an STD in any major city in the United States.

Personally, I have never cared for Vegas. I'm cheap, so I don't gamble. I'm cheap, so I can't see paying $80 to see a show that I can see on tape or DVD for $4. I'm cheap, so I'm not going to pay for a $400/night hooker. I'm cheap, so I'm not going to pay $3.50 for a beer when I can buy a 12 pack for $8. I'm cheap.

Besides, I get sent there to work so often that it's just another workplace for me.

OTOH, I'm sure there are a lot of fun things to do there. Enjoy yourself. The Dam tour is great if you enjoy history and engineering as much as I do.

My conversation with a Vegas cab driver on the way from the airport to the hotel:

ME: So what can I do in this town?

Cabbie: You mean besides gamble? Not much. Oh, there's a gambling museum.
