What is there to do in destin?

I'm going to destin the first week of august... what is their to do down there? Any good restaurants?

Captain Dave's is pretty good (be prepared to wait in the basement bar if you go on a weekend though). McGuire's (Irish) in Pensacola. Big Kahuna for putt-putt, go karts, and waterpark. Um...the beach. The outlet mall. Is that big bar shaped like a ship in Destin or Pensacola? I always forget.

I'm jealous, my family is going to be in Destin the first week of August too, my gf and I were going to meet them, but we can't...

Lucky Snapper, it's just before the bridge on the west end of town, my g/f is obsessed with that place. Our friends own a condo so we go almost every other month, it has amazing food. Try the chicken alfredo, it's got a slight cajun flavor to it. You can eat on the deck overlooking the ocean and a marina or eat inside and they open all the windows. At night they have a live band or a DJ and a nice bar.

Oh yeah, I've been there, it's not bad...I wouldn't say amazing food though.
