What is the worst way you've been dumped?

The worst way? It's not so much the way in which it happened, it was the fact that it happened during a very rough time in my life--how cowardly and cold-hearted could someone be-- and he apparently being the major stud

When she asked me to drive 180 miles to see her (it was our only opportunity in three months), only to not show up. Her response to my "wtf?" was "oh, sorry, I was too busy".

Looking back on it, the worst thing was it bummed me out so much my spring break vacation was completely ruined. I think I'm probably better off w/o her. 😛
 
She stopped returning my calls after a seemingly great date... major WTF...

I need closure dammit!!!!!

After telling a girl I wouldn't be her boy toy and I wanted her to break up with her BF as I was tired of being her 2nd BF on the side and didn't want to have relations /w someone who was having them /w another. we had a night of great passion w/o s3x I said "him or me?" and well I never heard from her again... Freekin hottie Model type nympho psycho it was for the best. I found out later she had an STD so I was glad I didn't hit it. Her BF was gonna be a doctor I hope he found a cure for it ! LoL

Or maybe the time I went to the bathroom at a party and found my GF 's D-Cups in my room mates to be hands...

Then 3 -4 years later we go out breifly and it happens again with a different roomate!!!

there are other times but those are probably the best ones.
 
Had a serious relationship for about half a year, and then one summer I called her and we talked about random stuff for about 30 minutes and then out of the blue she says, "Oh by the way, could we not see each other anymore?"

Talk about shocked.
 
So my GF gave me these brownies right? And then...I discovered this tape of ER that she "taped" for me. 🙁
 
This woman dumped me for another man. This was okay with me because we were both miserable in the relationship. The bad thing was as we were moving my stuff out of her apartment she said she changed her mind about breaking up. I said something like "no this is the best thing to do". From time to time she would show up at my house. She would call me when she needed help. Once she called to talk about her boyfriend which I refused to do.

 
Well, the one I didn't see coming was when a girl I'd been seeing suddenly went scarce, was tough to call, said she was going through emotional issues and needed a few weeks (girl had had emotional breakdowns before... didn't like staying away but damn if she didn't get angry when I tried to talk with her), after a month of this I learn about her visiting a friend (new name) named Jimi in the local jail. Still weeks later her friend finally pities me and says Jimi isn't just a friend. Talk about dragging the truth out and being dumped for someone in jail. Women are the suck!

(PS - The clarification should be made that the guy wasn't doing a long stint in the jail.... probably just a few weeks by the sound of it.)

Either the girlfriend who called me from college one night to tell me she was engaged

Or the brief girlfriend who, upon my arrival with a dozen roses, told me I was immature (?!!) and she didn't want to see me again. Her ex-boyfriend was in the other room, getting back together with her.

My ex dumped me because I won't make a commitment, she wanted me to give up my apartment and move into her house with her two sons. Now everyday she phones me giving me a blow by blow description of what she doing with her present bf who is a lawyer. 😀
 
my one serious relationship so far, i broke it off... this one time, i got pre-emptively struck into the friend zone though.
 
by her acting weird until i finally brought up the topic... basically she was too chickensh!t to do it so decided to force me to do it.

not that bad, but i haven't been dumped terribly much (not many relationships to begin with).

wow...your friend needs an asswhooping. I don't think I'd talk to my friend anymore if they stole my girl. An asswhooping and various acts of vandalism on their car would be it.
 
This thread is so depressing it makes me want to never go out with anybody ever again. As for my own experiences I haven't really ever been in a serious relationship, although oddly enough I've still been hurt by being dumped haha. But it's so complex and retarded that I won't even mention it to save myself some pride =p
 
no really horrible ways being dumped... but damn horrible timing!!

Like few days before a important final.. wtf!! nothing like feeling worthless and $hitty when trying to study for a final :-(
