one of my roommate's in college used to tell everyone that I sat there and watched him while he slept :Q he knew it wasn't true -- he told me in private that he knew it wasn't true and that he was just joking around -- but he kept telling people and wouldn't admitt in public that it was a joke.

that's kinda the point... my roommate made everyone think I was a pervert, even though he was making it all up 🙁

When I was younger -- like in 5th-6th grade -- I had a friend that was born with one deformed arm. It was very much shorter than his other arm, and it had a slight elbow and wrist that connected his 3-finger hand to his shoulder.

Anyways, one day after recess he came in crying because some kids on the playground were teasing him. A few of the kids accused me of doing it. It probably doesn't seem so bad to others to hear me talk about it, but I remember feeling absolutely terrible about it. I didn't feel guilt, mind you. I just felt really bad for my friend, and I felt really bad that others would actually think I could do something so cold and heartless. 🙁

that's kinda the point... my roommate made everyone think I was a pervert, even though he was making it all up 🙁

Maybe you shouldve actually started doing that, you know just to get back at him. I'm sure it wouldve made him pretty uncomfortable. That'll teach him. Either that or teabag him while he sleeps 🙂

i once was fairly drunk with a friend of mine who had a bf who was well really drunk at a club. her roomate and well all her friends accused me of trying to get her back to my place when A. i had no car and were driven back to their apartment by other people, B. actually carried her to her room while the others just followed me around suspiciously, C. she vomited on me and then blacked out at which point someone drove me to my own home.

this girl had well tried to fool around as we danced at the club. nothing serious, all just fun, but the "overprotective" other friends saw and did their thing. i also was at the time seriously bulked up and probably could have beat the living crap out of them as i was pretty mad at the whole "you were trying to take advantage of my friend" routine. anyhow i dont talk to any of them anymore and was well pretty pissed off at the total lack of any trust in me. they then tried to say that it just looked like i could because it was possible since well i was much bigger than them and could well potentially take advantage of people, though i have never in my life even shown the potential to do something like that. i dunno it was a pretty rotten feeling.

i think i only ended up on good terms with the girl who threw up on me after that.
