Eh, we just let Canada think it's its own country. America owns Canada and Mexico, it's just hush hush.

Blasphemy. I'm from Tennessee...though I wasn't born here (I wasn't born in America), but I've lived here for 14 years. Of course, now that I'm retorting to your comment, I realize that Tennessee does suck.

I say Arkansas .. I drove through there on the way to New Orleans once, and they had Toad festivals, Toad Picknicks, Toad Parades, Toad Racing Etc ... Every billboard in the entire state has the word toad on it. I don't have anything about amphibians, but i see no point in religiously celebrating them. Thats worse than the Corn Festivals that lots of small town in Illinois have!

Missisippi Is a close second.

Then Probably Florida ... just because it lowers the average American IQ by a few points.

Also, Canada is not a state. It is an American Territory, similar to other places that are not states and yet American Territories ... such as Mexico, Puerto Rico, Guam, Afganistan, and Iraq.

You neglected to include a choice for Franklin, which was a state for a period of 3 years shortly before the Civil War. (I think)

Man, that place sucks. They haven't paid taxes in, like, a hundred years. :p

I bet if you made CA a seperate country, it would decay into a valueless giant POS with no power in 5 years ;)

The economy there is just begging to collapse... Grocery store workers making $22/hr with benefits? wtf. 2 Bedroom house for $450k? wtf.

Copenhagen came in 6th globally and 3rd in Europe in the recent Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) survey of 130 cities around the world regarding their attractiveness to live in for expatriates.

Melbourne has retained its position as the top city in the world to call home followed by Vancouver, Vienna, Perth, Geneva and ? all equally good ? Adelaide, Brisbane, Copenhagen, Montreal, Oslo, Sydney, Zurich.

Other major cities where ranked as follows:

Helsinki, Stockholm and Toronto (all no. 13), Paris (28), London (45), Dublin and New York (both no. 51).

The London-based EIU assessed the level of hardship for expatriates in the 130 cities, using 12 factors including housing, education, recreational activities, health, climate and terrorism. Cities were rated one to five in the 12 categories, with one meaning there was no hardship and five indicating extreme hardship.

Cheers,

lies! all lies! well maybe its half true... The avg grocery worker gets 17/hr, but the companies arent backing down in the current strike, and its possible those people may never get their jobs back... as for our property values, they just keep going up, and up, and up...... but the same process has been going on for a long time here, specifically in the last 5 years its gone up 35% as a state average... I don't think the economy will collapse, people will just start moving outward and outward, where it's 250k for a 2bdrm house.. still more than other states, but hey we do have a beach, snow, and pretty much anything else u can think of doing within driving distance, I say it's worth the extra living expenses..

I voted for North Dakota also. I feel sorry for anyone who has to live there. The state is so flat you can see your dog run away for a week.

Hehe...I need to stop posting "Look what stupid thing my state did today." stories....it's really not all that bad in many respects. We just have some raging assclowns holding political office right now.
