LMAO...that one was a good episode......lol...good memories!

I sledded down the hill/cul de sac behind my house when I was 13, riding a big truck inner tube, at high speeds. Laying face down across the inner tube.
I jumped off the snow bank at the bottom of the hill, and when I landed my body flexed downward into the innertube, bouncing my unit off a big chunk of ice with great force.

I have never felt such blinding pain before or since, and I have broken bones, had a vasectomy, and wiped out a motorcycle at highway speeds, on black top, wearing shorts. (I broke teeth and lost much skin in that one)

I stumbled up the hill screaming, burst into my house thinking for sure I'd amputated it.

When I shakily removed my pants, I wished I hadn't. I was black/blue, and hematoma'd for a month.

I was about 16/17 years old and I think I might of had a really bad concussion, but one night after bball practice for some odd reason my head started hurting like I've never felt in my life and I started vomiting continuously...a bball that I didn't see bounced hard off the rim did hit me in the head REALLY hard and knocked me to the floor but I just got up and felt 100% after about 15 minutes, I've had concussions before and could tell if something was wrong, nothing was weird at that point....now I've played football, track etc etc etc and I've broken bones, been stabbed/cut, bruised, torn muscles but I can not remember a time when I was in more pain.

The funny part to this story though is that I told my parents how I was feeling and they saw me vomiting, before they went on their nightly "excercise run/walk" and my mom, who is usually over protective (I'm a mama's boy and proud of it!), just got me a glass of 7up, asked if I was okay and left with my dad on their walk as I continued to vomit...lmao...I was PISSED at the time, but then again I was always breaking a bone and getting hurt in some way and I never wanted help or compassion because I knew I'd be fine and I would take the pain.....so I guess they knew I'd be "fine" or this time they thought I might have been "crying wolf" to stay home from school the next day or something...I dunno...hehe

You mean your unit as "the unit" all men have?

If so...jeez us christ man...can you still have kids or what?

I had Limnes Disease in the 2nd grade. (You get it from getting bit by a tick, i got bit while playing baseball)

The Disease didn't hurt much (Double Vision, Throw up if i sit up straight, only allowed water, cant sleep)

It was the Spinal Taps. FOr those who dont know that is when they stick a BIG A$$ needle into your spinal cord (through the bone) and drain out the excess fluid in there. I was in 2nd grade so after having this done 4 times i decided i couldn't take it anymore. They tried to give me the medicene that makes you go to sleep (i didn't know what they were doing 😛 ). I was so scared they gave it to me and i fought it off. That is the medicene that is supposed to knock you out, i fought threw it i was so scared (fought until it wore off like what 6 hours later).

LOL No permanent harm done, just broken blood vessels from impact. A painful place to break them though.....

lets see
broke my right collarbone last october while playing TAG football. dumbass friend on MY TEAM fvcking ran me over as i dived to tag a slowpoke with the ball in front of me. lay on the floor for about 2 minutes moaning in pain, threatening to assrape whoever touched me's mother, then getting up and limping to a picnic bench with an arm dangling an inch low. history teacher (was out playing with us) thought that it was dislocated, and tried to put it back in the socket, till i asked him to stop before i thought about murdering someone. was at about 10 AM, had to wait until 5:30 PM till i could go to the hospital, but they gave me a nice big prescription for some codiene+tylenol, good stuff, good stuff.

getting punched pointe blank in the nose by some little 6th grader. nose hurt for three whole days, was sore for the next week, every night i'd clean out two kleenex fulls of blood clots from my nose, course, he got his ass kicked, but still, getting hit in the nose hurts ALOT.

Sonic's burgers gave me food poisoning once, they had some really bad meat, some diarhhea here, some intestinal cramps there, couldn't eat for a day

Eating some horribly prepared Indian food with really bad meat at a conference, I woke up 4 times that night with intense diarrhea, and it went on for the remainder of the conference

Slipping and falling backwards down 5 stairs and landing headfirst on some marble

Waking up to some nausea, heading to the bathroom, vomiting, then passing out. I woke up to find a bruise on my arm and the handle for a drawer on the ground, turns out my arm took it out when I fell down.

wow, that's alot

Kicked in the balls by my friend. She finds me being in pain to be funny.

The thing about getting kicked in the balls is that the pain starts down there and seems to move all the way up to your gut, and it hurts to move.

(1) Severly herniated my lower back L4-L5 while olympic lifting w/o warming up correctly. The gel-sac between my vertebrate ruptured and forced out the left side pushing into my spinal cord. The slightest movement shot intense pain throughout my spinal cord and body and I had to lean 90 degrees to the right. No walking, no sitting - just staying absolutely still in bed. Taking a piss was a major chore, taking a dump was even worse.

(2) Punctured my left pectoral muscle up to my ribcage/heart with my bicycle handlebar after being broadsided by a car. Riding back to the dorm on my dirtbike at night crossing an alley only to have a car pull out and run into me. The car pushed the bike underneath it and pinned my body into the handlebar. Punctured area swelled up larger than a grapefruit and was dark red due to internal bleeding.

(3) Punctured my left forearm by a car's sideview mirror, got knocked unconscious, and herniated my lower back after car makes sudden right turn in front of me while I'm going 33+ MPH on my racing bicycle. Slammed my head into the asphalt @ 33 MPH.

(4) Crashed motorcycle off of freeway. Entire leg upto my groin was dark red from internal bleeding and blown out knee.

(5) Smashed tip of ring finger flat after dropping 100+ lb dumbbell on it.

(6) Ripped the flesh off my hands climbing rope 2 stories then bled. I climbed the rope hands only w/o using my legs. It was very tough and when I got to the top my hands were so sweaty, I could not hold on w/o moving. I didn't have my legs hooked around so it was either let go and fall two stories possibly killing myself, or squeeze even tighter and slide down ripping off my flesh. It's amazing the kind of thought process that you go through when faced with death vs. intense pain. At the bottom of the rope were blood stains.

How about this one. My friends and I were playing paintball. Someone decided it would be funny to shoot my in the balls from 3 feet away. I was on the ground for 2 hours until my girlfriend came to pick me up. You don't even understand!

I was 13 excactly (happy birthday) when I broke my femur skiing. The pain was on the first night when I was in traction and the leg muscles kept trying to pull everything apart/away. They had to hang about 50 pounds of weight just to keep my own muscles from pulling the bone!

I was in that hospital bed for ~3 months, though the pain mostly subsided after the first couple weeks.

Worse pain, but shorter duration, was the last two days. Started out as a pain in my back that just felt like a muscle crap from "sleeping funny". It got gradually worse over 24 hours until the entire right side of my chest was in terrible pain. Last night I went to the hospital emergency room to have it taken care of... waited over 3 hours before anyone even saw me, 4 hours before anyone DID anything - by then I was in such agony that I could only breathe in tiny gasps and was all but completely immobilized. It was agony to so much as breathe! The slightest movement (that affected my right torso at all) sent waves of pain like a skewer going straight through me!

The worst part of it all was that not only had I *just* gotten over 1.5 weeks of pneumonia, I hadn't *done* anything to cause this pain so my wife and I began to fear it was something really serious!

I'm loaded up on Tylenol3 and Ibuprofen and I can function again, though with quite a bit of discomfort, but last night I was in tears from the pain. Wanna' see a grown man cry? Too late. 😉

Let see, none to top the guy who fell outta the chopper 50ft...

When I was 12, I was restringing a recurve bow. For those of you who have never done this, they teach you that the proper way to do so is to put the bow across your back, put one foot behind the bottom of the bow and pull on the top of the bow with your hands (literally bending the bow across your back) so that the string fits...well i didn't do that...

Instead I had this 60lbs test bow lodged in a vise and a cinder block holding the bottom end still (i wasn't strong enough). ... well, I pushed the top end down until my brother could get the string on the notch...he "said" he had got it on, so I let go...
Which resulted in the recurve coming back at my face at 75lbs test...which happened to land directly in my eye....
Now...the visit to the Doctor to pull the fiberglass out of my eye...and then the drops for 3 months that burned like paint thinner...

I met a guy who wacked off after rubbing icy hot on a girl (???). He is a moron...

Another "Ima dumbass story..."
I was 15 and found a dead tree that was probably 80 feet tall...pushed it over, and turned to look at my friends, as the 50 foot segment landed across my back and pinned me to the ground...
that was funny as hell afterwards...

Ok, I'm missing a few teeth congenitally....

I got implants for two of them and decided to do it awake. It didn't hurt while they drilled 1/4 in. holes an inch into my jawbone. It didn't hurt when they sawed the gums off down to the bone and pulled them back. It didn't hurt when they ratcheted the titanium screws into my jaw.

However, the drugs wore off. I could feel every stitch as they sewed my gums back on.

Then they pulled out a heat gun (basically a soldering iron without solder). He continued on to cauterize my gums along the cuts he had just sewed. It stung so bad I could barely smell the odor of the burning flesh as the smoke curled around my face. I was sweating up a storm and was drenched after it was over.

Mexico Water = Worst Stomach Pain of my Life

Lasted the last 2 days of my 2 week Cancun trip. Seeing Tulum, Chichen Itza and the culture was definately worth it though.

Ahh Montezuma's revenge.

Umm, extreme pain? Nothing comes close to anything mentioned in this thread though.

Umm, in first grade I was running at full speed, and some kid tripped me into a concrete wall. I was out cold, so I didn't feel anything. Then a few years ago that, I got whipped in the eye with a branch, that hurt a lot, but it quickly went away. Then I got ~11 yellowjacket stings. Those bastards don't like their nest being stepped on.

Either was today, when i burned myself on teh toaster oven (Surgen's General Warning: 450deg electric cooking elements hurt like hell)

Or it was when i flippedo ver teh nadle bars of my bike an did a nice face plant twenty feet forwards.

Cracked both front teeth scraped a good portion of teh skin of my forehead, and got a concusion.

While working up a telephone pole one day up about 25 feet. My spikes cut out of the pole. At first I hugged the pole causing nice friction burns and a lot of splinters to my forearms. I also got a nice chunk of pole in my lodged in my palm. When I hit the ground I ruptured my patella tendon. The impact sling shot my knee cap to my upper thigh. Here is a nice site with some pics. http://www.arthroscopy.com/patendrep.htm My knee cap was a lot higher that than the one pictured but you can get the idea. I was in a bad part of town in a public park. I had to crawl about 15 feet to the front of my work van. I waited about 5 minutes for the first car to come by who of course drove on by. 2 more cars drove on by. ! wonderful person drove by a total of 3 times. He finally stopped and asked if everything was ok when 2 others had already stopped. The area was so remote when I finally got 911 I had to stay on the line and direct the firetruck to where I was. No one else could explain it.

During my first surgery to repair my patella tendon they found I destroyed my ACL, MCL,PCL and my meniscus. All this was almost 2 years ago. I already have truamatic arthritis and the change of weather hurts like a mother. FUN FUN FUN

That was the worst pain I ever had. The second worst I guess was post surgery 1.
