WOW I really liked The Happening. It was actor orientated as opposed to special effects. Made scenes of the wind blowing though grass seem terrifying.

I wanted to leave the theater, way too fucking long.

I decided to give Batman and Robin a chance and watch it, as I've just been a complete Batman nerd for the past couple of days and watched whatever Batman stuff I could get. I stopped after half an hour, epic fail. The thing that irked about that movie and the three before it is that everyone and their mom knows who Batman is.

Got 1 hour into 10,000 BC and had to turn it off because it was so bad.
Haven't turned a movie off in years.

I actually liked The Devil's Rejects .. but not on its own. You almost need to see it right after House of 1,000 corpses. It's more of a continuation than a sequel to me. While mildly entertaining, I thought The Happening was pretty bad.

The wife got "The Notebook" from Netflix. What a terrible movie. If you haven't seen it and want to get an idea of what it is, just invision never ending cliche's for sappy movies over and over. Then couple that with an ending that you can see coming from a mile away that is supposed to be a 'suprise'.

Semi-Pro with Will Ferrell. It's gotta be the worst movie he's made in a long time.

worst part is that i was in the can for the only good part of the movie.

Wow...I loved Wanted and it was definitely one of the best actions movies I have seen this year. Liked it a lot more than Iron Man.

I've recently turned off the following:

Semi-Pro
The Protector
Mr Woodcock
King of New York

And a few others that I'm not thinking of. For the most part I've been able to avoid a lot of the other crap out there. I blame the wife for 3 out of 4 of the above.

Some movie called Left For Dead. I was really looking for a second season of Deadwood DVD at Blockbuster, but they didn't have it in. So I looked around for a western and saw this one. Sounded intriguing. But no, it was absolutely terrible.

It was a cross between western and horror. Some woman hunting down this guy that murdered a bunch of whores. Except the guy is a ghost? I don't know because I barely made it through 20 minutes before shutting it off. A bunch of guys running into the supposed haunted town (Amnesty) and being shot at by this ghostly figure was what ended it for me.

The Happening....thank god I didn't spend money to watch it. Nothing fucking happens, so boring. Never seeing another Shyamalan movie again.

Wanted, Hellboy 2, Dark Knight = I enjoyed all these movies.

Hancock = okay. It seemed like it needed a climax or something, he should have fought another super hero or something, I thought the woman was going to turn evil or something and fight him, they did a little, but Hancock needed a Nemesis or something.

The only part of the movie I liked was Zooey Deschanel, everything else was laughable.

Not to be "that guy," but - half of what I've seen in the past year was awful. Off the top of my head:

Hitman (not that I expected much)
Cassandra's Dream (rated 7.6 or so on IMDB - wtf?)
Golden Compass (it wanted to be Narnia, but made me want to scream)
I Am Legend (been discussed to death here)
Death At A Funeral (zzzZZZzz...)

Thank god there have been so many good ones inbetween.

She was the supporting actress in Failure to Launch I was talking about. Mmm, mmm, good.

Have you seen her in Weeds? Man, I just re-watched the episodes with her in them.

Devil's Rejects? Thank god I chose that in my selection of 5 free Blue-rays. All of them are still in the original wrapper. Wonder how much I can pawn it for... All Rob Zombie movies are absolute shit.

Land of the Dead was pretty bad. Was on TV, had zombies, thought I could do no wrong.
