It basically ended when I realized she couldn't hold a conversation about anything significant in person...the first few times we hung out all she wanted to do was make out, which was cool for a few minutes, but got really old. The second time she came over she started dry humping me then started asking me serious questions about my life, "Like what do you look for in a friend" while she was still on top of me. Weirdo.

Yeah that reallly gets old for me too when a hot young woman is dry humping me and making out with me.....pffftttt
Yeah better kick her to the curb fast before she blows you :D:D

You the anti-man

I've had pretty decent luck in this area I guess. The only time I remember that was nuts was my freshman year of college. Girl shows up at my dorm, I've known her for all 3 days and her tongue is immediately going for my ear. Jokes constantly about grabbing my junk. Leaving the dorm's main hall, she flips the door closed as I'm walking up to leave and the knob hits me square in the junction. Nothing like a sharp blow to the nuts to start a date off right.

Much later that night, she starts something with another girl, cat fight ensues. Guess who gets clawed to hell trying to break'em apart?

I dated a girl for 2 years after high school (who had been my best friend for 4 years prior). About a year into it, she began following me whenever I went somewhere without her (didn't give her cause to even THINK I was cheating) and she started talking to inanimate objects towards the end.

Now, I thought that was pretty crazy and I couldn't take it so I broke off the relationship, only to find out she was pregnant with my child....

Which she subsequently killed by taking quintuple doses of birth control pills until she miscarried.

Hence, why I don't date much anymore.

I'll start. This woman at work recommended this Russian girl for me to date. She was pretty nice, but there were a few warning flags I didn't catch. First, there was a pretty big language barrier. Second, she NEVER offered to pay or pitch in for anything...princess syndrome. Third, she was very cold and didn't put out. Fourth, she was VERY skinny and I think she was anorexic. It was like hugging a leather gold bag.

This is the clincher: One night after going out, I drove her back to her apt. She lived with her parents whom I've never met. As I pulled in a space in front of her unit, I see 2 guys hanging out on the sidewalk smoking. I said, "Is one of these your father?" She said yes, but no more. So I got out, went to one of the guys, held my hand out to introduce myself....

He held out a stump.

The relationship was over at that point.

You sound like my di><wad friend who tried to get me to look up the property value of girls he didn't even know nor would give him the time of day even if it would save his life.

But to answer the question it has gone down like this:

1) bad g/f #1, met when I 'clubbed' all the time. Got her knocked off stage in a 'butt contest' that I won. She decided to send a gangster to harass my friends (honor students I took out for the night)....I ended up throwing a guy over the bar and then got chased through town in a fire fight. About 10 guys later stopped by my parent's house and harassed my mother....later on it just 'died' out.

2) bad wife....broke her neck and 'snapped' mentally. I was in agreement that we needed to separate, yet she kept trying to send bouncers after me, which I would know from back in the day with #1 above....finally that erupted into a swat team coming to my old employer to escort out a 60 year old man with my same name that her boyfriend thought was me. Anyways things were resolved and those two haven't been seen here lately.

luckily I have more good than bads in my life.

As a junior in HS, I dated a freshman cheerleader. After 3months, her mom caught us making out in the car. A month later, a friend of mine who went to her school saw her holding hands with someone else. That really hurt me a great deal. I surprised her at a swim meet and she felt really uncomfortable, since the other guy was there too. Broke it off a week later. :brokenheart:

It's a toss up between a bipolar lunatic that almost got me thrown in a Mexican prison & then tried to burglarize my house when we got back to the states after we broke up & my ex wife who I've had the pleasure of throwing in jail.

Can I pick em or what:D

"Just think guys it could always be worse, you could be dating Luvly"

LOL, Geekbabe. The only problem is, if it's really Luvly, they wouldn't even have access to her in all likelihood. ;) :p

Avatar26, no way! Your story is unbelievable, especially when told on the 'net, conducive to fiction. Totally unbelievable . . . or Wisconsin has crazy people. Wow! :Q  :Q

???? so you are letting a 2 year relationship with an unborn baby that may have easily terminated naturally set the stage for your dating the rest of your life?

I don't understand people who make themselves victims.

Crap from above: the house I purchased for $115k in 1992/3 and restored with about $40k of my own cash and about 1 year of at least 1000 hours of my time spent on...I made a $40k downpayment on it as well. It's now worth 2.5x that + I would have had it paid off now. Sort of a big loss I'd say...she was also pregnant and lost our baby naturally....I have moved on and just file that away into the 'non-normal' folder I have that's busting at the seams.

I wish it were fiction... That was about 18 months ago and I still think about it every day.
I'm just thankful I got out when I did: her mother is on heavy medication and is borderline
certifiable, and her sister punched through her ex-boyfriend's window to try and beat him
for watching a movie with another woman (note the ex- in front of boyfriend.
:( It's really quite a tragic family

Dated/lived with what seemed a really nice girl.

Then the mental problems show up. she was always sick or something hurt or she didn't want to do anything. Guess she was a hypochondriac because she ALWAYS thought something was wrong with her. Finally left her after about 18 months of that nightmare.

Ok... I didn't say I sit in the corner crying about it, but it has colored my outlook on dating somewhat.
Remember, she was my best friend for years before we dated, I thought I knew her better.
So now I'm not rushing into anything. Thanks for the attempted flame though. :)

Cut him some slack, Alkemyst. I could start to give you a hard time about your [gangster] life, now! LOL! ;)

Avatar26, I understand your reaction. It would break my heart if my best friend turned out to be the worst. I always think dating your best friend isn't a bad idea 'cuz, at the very least, you'll be friends again if your relationship doesn't work (which it often doesn't). However, when it turns out that you see complete dirt, which you hadn't seen before, of your supposed best friend, it could change your outlook. In my view though, you should be grateful that you aren't tied down to her for your entire life, as would have happened if she didn't [intentionally] miscarry the baby. I also have my belief that traits are primarily genetic; hence, I would be too scared of my kid coming out as whacked . . . especially as it runs in her family. That's just me though, I suppose. Hope you can recover fully, whilst still careful about your choices. You don't have to date often to prove that you have gotten over it.

An ex-gf of mine in high school turned out to be crazier than I thought...towards the end of the relationship when things weren't so good she started stalking me. I would see her car around when I left work, I would get strange phone calls when I was out with my friends etc... I knew she was behind it...

One day we had a pretty big argument and I decided that I shouyld leave her house. So I started towards my car when she comes running out screaming. She latches on to my shoulders but I shake her off and continue walking. She tries again, this time piggy-backing herself on top of me...I shake her off again and she falls on a heap on the sidewalk. All this time she had been screaming and crying LOUD, her father decides to see what the hell is going on outside. Just my luck the guy opens up the front door to see his daughter falling down with me standing over her. He starts yelling at me and grabs a bat as he is walking over to me. Friggin guy actually swung at me a few times while I'm trying to convince him that she just fell and I didnt push her. I was lucky that their house is on a main road and a passing cop car happened to pass by as the dad was chasing me with a bat. Make a long story short, the cops defused the situation, everythign was explained, all the neighbors returned inside and I got to leave the house in one piece.

It gets better...I show up at her place about a month later to collect some off my things when she takes off her shirt and shows me a tattoo on her back. It was my COMPLETE NAME...My first, middle and last name emblazoned across her upper back. I inspected it to make sure it was real and then without saying anything, turned around and ran out of there faster than a bat out of hell. Haven't seen the girl since.
