I was just thinking about how some things ever started being eaten for the first time. Who ever thought that squid would be something so glorious just by looking at it? I think I have a pretty storng stomach and have tried tons of different things, but the weirdest thing I've ever eaten was a bee.

How about you guys?

I ate a fly. When I was playing soccer, one happened to fly in my mouth. I almost threw up it was nasty.

Goat's brains.

It tastes good, but the texture is too slippery to enjoy past a few bites.

Cooked?

Yea, they were cooked and mixed in with something else. You eat it with roti. I would have enjoyed it slightly more if I had not been told upfront what it was I was eating.

Cow tongue. I didn't know what it was until after I had eaten it. It was ok but I'd never eat that again willingly.

Other things that are kind of weird...I guess uni is pretty strange looking, it's good though.

When I cook thanksgiving meal, I take the neck, heart, liver, gizzard, and kidneys that come with the turkey, and cook them with the turkey drippings for awhile. I then pull meat off the neck and mince the heart and liver and make a gravy out of it.

Mmmmm good.

I have some dried bull penis that my cat likes to chew on.

I've had sauteed crickets, all sorts of calamari, fried duck heads, and a ton of other Asian foods that I have no idea what were. I went to Chinatown NYC with my dad a couple years ago, he used to be really big in the ginseng business and has a lot of rich Chinese contacts. We had lunch one day at a Chinese restaurant, and the owner closed it down for us and we had this massive feast of all sorts of unidentifiable, yet delicious foods.

Not exactly way out there, but bison meatloaf(it was horrible, couldn't stand the flavor or the texture).

Jungle survival training in Panama, pretty much anything with meat on it. Sloth, snake, iguana, coatimundi, and other critters I don't remember the name of, also various plants, and roots. Come to think of it, I had a 1st SGT. that sounded a lot like the terminator,----
"eat this if you want to live".
