What is the thinnest 1Gb USB drive money can buy?

What is the Thinnest 1 Gb USB flash drive that I can buy and carry in my wallet daily without damaging the drive or corrupting the files on the drive? Thank you.

If you are meaning actual credit card footprint with as near a credit card thickness as technology allows so far, you can try one of the Walletex credit card flash drives.

Check em out here.

OCZ makes the thin little weird thing, and several makers have thinner than a slice of meatloaf sized credit card flash drive...google "credit card flash drives" and you will find a wide range of types and sizes.

Not a solution, but a humorous thought to share. My first reaction to the op was a vision of a thumbdrive impression left in a wallet such as rubbers leave a ring-like impression if left too long. Perhaps the ultimate symbol of geekdom.

My Verbatim unit came with a lanyard to wear around your neck. A lot safer than carrying in your wallet.

Hehe. 🙂 I remember those days, having a permanent "ring" shape on your wallet. Ahhh, the fun times.

WAY off topic, but you should never carry a rubber in your wallet. The constant pressure and friction the condom is subject makes it WAY more likely to tear. Even if it doesn't tear in the package, when putting it on or "using" it it's far more likely to break.

Broken condom = 😱

Actually its the constant heat from your butt that makes the rubber deteriorate. Plus, they were never in my wallet long enough to suffer friction or heat damage. 😀

I'm gonna have to trust Agentbolt and the NIH (Important Tips section) on this one:

"Do not carry condoms in your wallet for long periods of time. Replace them every once in a while. Friction from opening and closing your wallet, and from walking (if you carry your wallet in your pocket) can lead to tiny holes in the condom. Nevertheless, it is better to use a condom that has been in your wallet for a long time than to not use one at all."
