What is the story behind the movie Elektra?

smells like something a marketer came up with and wrote the script for...plus that huge stink of dd doesn't bode well for it. trailerlooked cheap.. but who knows😛
 
well the track record for female "girl power" superhero movies is pretty bad.... catwoman?😉 superwoman....tombraider...
 
The movie takes place after daredevil. Afleck makes a cameo appearance as matt murdock in his lawyer guise. If you want I can give you a complete spoiler laden summary of the movie.
 
poor Jennifer Garner reportedly has a mysterious virus right now and can't even promote the movie via talk shows / appearances ...
 
Did she really die in DD? I know she got stabbed but did they actually show her dead? Who's to say she isn't in a hospital healing at the end of the movie and she decides to become a superhero after she's better.

also in DD she did not die, she left something behind for Ben Asslick to find and remember her by....
 
She didn't die in Daredevil. I don't know if the pics were real or photoshopped, but someone sent me a link to one that showed her in the background on one of the last scenes of Daredevil. If anyone has it on dvd, you might verify. It's toward the end when Matt Murdock is back on the roof of the building.
 
Uhhh... it was OBVIOUS from the ending of daredevil that she was not dead. It's been a while since I've seen it but basically there was something hanging from a wire or pole at the end that clearly indicated that she was still alive.
 
She dies, but is brought back from the dead by the mysterious organization known as The Hand; at least that's what happens in the comic books.
