Superman is in high school from what I understand. What role does Lex Luthor play in the series? He seems to actually be Superman's friend. Also from an episode I watched he shares that he is Superman with a lot of people. What's the story?

other then crazy weekly adventures.....

lex is the local billionaires kid and doesnt go to school, responsible for a lot of the plot twists involving his identity(him and his dad)
the black kid(sadly hes like the only black person on their) knows his secret cuz hes supermans best friend
lana has feelings for him, but nothing ever happens and they see other people because its a tv series, keeps the tention....
the white chick is a reporter and always nosey, another source for plot twists

other then that... dunno

it's superman's story before he goes to metropolis.
lex is his friend but the story shows his fall to the "darkside"
he has only told 1 person (other than his parents) that he is superman: his best friend pete (who is no longer on the show). they have hinted that lionel luthor (lex's dad) might know something, but he is in jail right now.

I haven't seen it in a while. Why is Pete off the show? What did they do with his character?

Looks like we have another SV follower...don't worry, during the regular season, there's a SV thread every week. :D

And yeah, you don't really need to worry about the storyline too much since everybody DIED in the season finale. ^_^ (Well, almost everybody)

His parents got a divorce and he decided to move with his Mom? if I remember correctly to get away from always being in danger with Clark.

Pete Ross was one of the original characters in Supermans origins. Kinda odd that they wrote him out, although they probably should have cast someone better. If my memory serves, he was a jock on par with Whitney, just Clark's friend.

Also, each week seems to revolve around kryptonite causing x-files like stuff. Gets old. He should be running into a young Bruce Wayne or Hal Jordan. The only redeeming qualities of the show are Lex's decent into super villainy and the cute asian Lana Lang, mixed with good ole fashioned Dawson's Creek like teen angst. Remove the kryptonite villian of the week aspect and you'd probably have a great show, but its somewhat mediocre.
