Penny if it is heads-up. This gives you good luck. If it's heads-down I flip if over and leave it there. This prevents bad luck.

Definitely a nickel and up. Pennies are hit or miss for me. I hate waste so I'll usually get a penny and throw it in a jar at home.

I do, several hours a day, for $64 per hour, but I'd much rather read your explanation of what he posted.

It was mostly a joke, ever hear of that whole thing where if Bill Gates saw $100 on the road it would not be worth for him to pick it up? Well I had just done the rough calculations and figured that a dime or lower would not be worth while for me. You are trying to analyze it way too much. lol.

I pick up any and all coins I see. Gotta check if it's old enough to be actual copper or silver, or a rare date. Plus it's money. It all adds up. When I find one while I'm at work, I always equate it to making a little extra an hour that day.

If I saw a half cent, a 2 cent piece, or a 3 cent piece, I would pick it up for sure. They can be quite valuable.

I think we need a corollary poll.
If your sole means of earning money was by bending over to pick it up ... how much would you have to average to make it worthwhile?

After watching the Final Destination movies I'd assume it's a trap and I'm about to be decapitated or suffer a piano drop. I'd run away into the middle of traffic where it's safe.

I'd pick up a mill. When I was a kid in Mpls., the city stamped zinc mill coins for use as streetcar tokens.
