I stayed up late one night by myself when I was a kid and watched Rosemary's Baby. Scared the crap outta me.

Come on, what movie can be scarier than a movie called "Scary Movie". Maybe Scary Movie 2? 😀

Gozilla - examplified the epitome of how wrong and messed up a movie could be made! it was the first movie i actually walked out in the middle of it instead of watching it thru....

Amityville Horror gave me all kinds of nightmares as a kid...and Phantasm II was disgustingly scary and dark.

Of course the Land of the Lost series always gave me nightmares too as a kid (the sleestacks).

Of course, Kazzam! Have you ever seen Shaq act?

Other than that, my scarriest movie was IT. Clowns can be pretty scarry!

Here's a couple not listed yet:

"The Fog" - from John Carpenter. I won't watch it alone.
"Gothic" - weird, sucky, yet terrifying. I had nightmares for days.

I love horror flicks, so they don't scare me, but I would cast a vote for:

The Fog
Evil Dead
Alien

I saw these when I was younger and they scared me back then.

I thought "Stir of Echoes" was kind of psychologically scary. It bothered me alot more than something like "Sixth Sense".

Ghostbusters scared me to death, but i was only 6 at the time, especially when the hands came out of the chair and put Sigourney Weaver in the fridge!!

Not really the film that scared me, more the events: A couple of years ago I watched The Shining, i'd seen it before, but it was a stormy winters night (seriously!!), and I feel asleep while watching it. I woke up about 20 minutes later, and Jack Nicholson was really starting to loose it. Anyway, after it finished, I went to bed, when all of a sudden I heard all this screaming from outside...............turned out to be a couple of cats having a fight, but I still nearly had a heard attack.

not that shaq's acting was anything worth writing home about, neither was michael jordan's in the Space Jam. speaking of which, the former of two movies wasnt as boring at least...

Jaws scared the crap out of me when I was a little kid. Posiden Adventure was also a very tense movie when I saw it as a little kid.

And for some reason "The 6th Sense" was very creepy to me. After watching it I had trouble sleeping because I kept sensing ghosts in my room and was afraid to open my eyes.
