Perhaps an early 90's Volvo 780. There weren't many of them. I think in Nova Scotia at the time apparently it was one of two or something like that, it was a two-door Volvo.

Sad, isn't it?

Fastest car was Millennium's 2000 Mustang GT that he had thrown a bunch of money into.

Millions made, only thousands remain?

I suppose in term of quantity made, my 2004 S4 Avant with a manual is pretty rare.

I owned a 35th Anniversary Corvette for a bit. Only 2,050 were made.

Got taken for a spin in a Dodge Viper by my girlfriends stepdad after I swiped him a loaf of pumpernickel.

My uncle has a late 1960's-ish Corvette with a mirrored top thing... and a Fiat of some sort.

I've ridden in a Viper-GTS, wanna say around 2001.

I've driven an '07 Z06, still have the pee stains to prove it. :p

I sat in a DeLorean once... can't say I've driven or ridden in anything very exotic though. :(

Ford Contour SVT - Only 11,445 ever produced

Hey, I used to own one. IIRC they only made a few thousand per year, so that 11k number is probably all the years added together.

I currently drive a Mazdaspeed 6, which was only made for 2 years at a rate of a couple thousand per year.

I think I got a ride in a Volkswagon Scirocco (Mark II) back when I was in high school... maybe. I know for sure I sat on it (as in on the bodywork). :\

I've gotten several rides in an Audi RS6 (C5).

All kinds of stuff, but my Dad's 1979 Volvo Bertone Coupe is my favorite. It's an eccentric 2-series classic Volvo with an Italian 2.8L V6 and interior, and a chopped roofline (stock).

It's the same as this one, other than being a 79 and having the even rarer 4-speed MANUAL with overdrive.

I'm gonna fix it up someday and swap in a gm lt1/ls1, nothing fancy but hopefully more reliable than the stock v6.

I got to touch the only surviving fully intact Ford RS200 Evo Spec-B rally car :)

Personally driven, hmm, probably the 1953 Porsche 356 Cabrio, I think only a few hundred were made and only a handful were imported to the US. The thing was gorgeous. I'm not sure it qualifies as driven though, I got to idle it and circle the driveway to the street and back.

I've driven a friends 1964 Impala SS convertible. Not all that rare I suppose but the soft top makes it a little uncommon.

Probably the C4 ZR-1 that my dad's cousin-in-law owned. That was fun.

Either that, or the 1968 L68 Corvette convertible with the 4-speed that one of my mother's friends owns. In terms of engine/transmission combination that one is rarer than the C4 ZR-1.

Probably the most rare for me was riding in a R33 Skyline GT-R.
Obviously, they're quite rare here in the states; I was in Tokyo at the time, though.

Also ridden in a Viper GTR.

Toyota Supra. The exterior was unmolested which I think is pretty rare nowadays.

My former Summer car is pretty darn rare, a 1964 Plymouth Valiant 2 dr Hardtop factory V8.
{Sold it in May 2011}

Long ago and far away, when i was 18 I worked at a Service Station/Garage,
and got to drive some really neat cars.

1972 Pantera was one of the rarer cars, man that was fun to drive,
Zero to 100mph in about 10 seconds. Saw 150+mph by the speedometer.

Drove, several times, and almost bought a 1967 Corvette 427/ 435 hp 3x2 carbs. :)
