It's not nearly as dumb as the people that have the Keypad starter like in The Transporter.

buy yourself a cool universal remote control...... one that can actually "learn" from other remotes... when your friend leaves the keys laying around, whip out your remote, point his remote starter at yours and program yours to learn...
Presto! you can now start his car :)

I have a 5 speed 1995 jetta, and I don't have to push clutch when I start it up...

I live in Fairbanks, Alaska which can get down to -60F during the winter... remote starters are great! You try running outside to start your vehicle at -60F!

I had it on my BMW 5 series because I ahve black leather in a black car in the South.
However, I think it might have FUBARed my car's computer and I had to get a new chip, so now it is uninstalled.
But, I would love to have it back.

Hey glen, do you have a BMW sunshade? What does it look like?

I'm certain you have a sunshade, since you're a guy... Not one of these women I see every day who leave their 3 series parked for 8 hours in the blazing sun, cooking thier fine leather seats!

No sunshade.
The seats seem fine.
I try to park in the shade, and I have a garage.

The seats seem fine now, but in a few years, they will crack and age SO fast compared to a car that has the seats shaded.

A sunshade can be had for under $20 and could save you hundreds when reselling your car.

Sorry, it's just that I really wanted a 540i, but I reasoned that I didn't need to spend that much money on a daily driver, and got an Acura TL S-type... Still, in my heart, I'm driving a 5 series.... *sigh* Ah well, I get the performance and speed I need from my truck. And the Acura gets 31 mpg... But it's not Ultimate Driving Machine

I love the 5 series.
The 525 is under powered, but what i ahve, oh well.
The 3 is too small.
I love Honda, but it doesn't feel luxerious, and neither does Acura, but I knwo it is a great car.
Just get a Used 5 series.
