what is the order that i install the items into my comp?

Put the cpu and heatsink on the motherboard before it goes into the case, ram too; saves some trouble. Everything else after that.

well, i have a cool case and i have a k8n neo nvidia nforce3 250gp chipset base designed for amd athlon 64 processers, and i have a radeon 9700 pro, but im not sure if ill end up having to take the 2 out in like a month or so because of the game progression, so i dont wanna put it in if i have to take it out soon.

Put all the Hardware in, there's little need anymore for installing things one at a time like there used to be, especially when using WinXP. Throw it all together, Install Windows, get all the Updates/Service Packs, Update Motherboard Drivers, Video Drivers, Audio, and Other.

Exactly. A lot of things install themselves really. And those that need special drivers are easy to install(especailly with XP). Just make sure to plug in the power last and your good to go!!

Oh...and if your like me and generate a lot of static, wear an anti-static wrist thingy. Don't know where you get 'em. I get mine from work because I have bad experiences with static.
