what is the optimum OC I should try for with my setup??

I have the following:

epox 8k7a+ (RAID)
2 maxtor 30 GIG ata/100 7200 RPM drives (RAID 0)
cak38 global win
tbird 1.33 ghz
pc2100 ddr 512 megs of crucial ram

What should I try for? I am able to get the following to post:

1) 148x11 fsb=296, 1628
2) 166X10 fsb=332
3) 9.5x170 = 1615, fsb=340

I turned the voltage all the way up for the DDR and put my vcore adjust to +0.3V.

What do you guys thiNK?

BTW, this is my PC Health Status numbers:

current CPU temp: 41 deg
current system temp: 34 deg
vcore: 2.14 V
vagp: 1.57V
3.3V: 3.42 V
5v: 4.97
12v: 12.06V

Do u guys need any other info?

i think you could hit at least 1500

i could hit 1500 w/ my 1,33 without a sweat

..just got a kk266 so we will see how long i'm a mild OCer for

1.5 sounds good to me. You probably shouldn't push it too much until later. Then you can use it as an alternative to upgrading for a bit. That's just me. I like to overclock but not to the extreme. Plus what kinda cooling do you have for your ram?

May I ask what power supply you're using? 5v at 4.97 awesome for such a high vcore. Did you do the 5v mofset mod?

i'm runing my 1333 ayhja-y at 11.5 x 142 (1633mhz) and i find that this is the best my system can handle. i might need more northbridge cooling. i tried the 150 bus, but my system can't handle it, maybe yours can. you need good memory.

Anything that is stable...higher fsb is good...but it's really hard to attain...

Sickbeast...didn't you say that you popped 1720 or something like that? Where are the screenies...i've been dying to see them.

Well, I have Crucial RAM, the PC2100 DDR.. I have 2 of the 256 meg chips. I also have a PowerMan power supply.. I don't know how good that is.. it came w/ the S500 Inwin Case I got from NewEgg...

So what programs do I need to find out if my setup is stable or not? How can I check?

id try and get it to 1.5 1.6 i thnk it can reach it and be stable.

use programs like prime95

Easily at 1.5 Ghz. U should test which settings gives u most stability thou. Use 3DMark, Prime 95 or Sandra Sisoft to test.

A great PSU u've got. So, hit the higher FSB u can as it improve overall system performance. POSTing @ 1.6 Ghz...great. Watch ur temp.
