What is the one device that you use often which drastically improves your overall contentment (besides "my computer")

I got to thinking about this question and was wondering what other people thought.
Mine would likely be an iPod to commute on the subway with, lots of tunes and can go almost a full business week without a charge. In addition the feature of removing the earbuds from the device and having it automatically pause the current song and eventually shut itself off makes it easy for quick removal.

What is yours?
examples ... My special foam pillow ___ because it causes me to breath better while sleeping, my D70 because with it I can zoom in on the girl doing pilates down the street, ___ hardware/software for my computer because it saves me ___ minutes doing such and such by hand, ____ from that infomercial because it reminds me that I am a sheep with a credit card, etc...

My Sirius satellite radio. It makes my daily commute so much easier to take. That was one of those things that cost a minimal amount but it had a very large impact on my average day.
