I've got some antique woodworking tools that likely date from the late 1800's to early 1900's. Tough to be sure.

The only thing that comes to mind that I'm sure of the date on is my 1939 Winchester Model 12

I have a scroll that was part of the original collection of the dead sea scrolls. It was taken by my great great great great grandfather who was an archaelogist. It apparently was written by Jesus himself and never made it into the bible. I was thinking about getting it touched up to remove some of the stains and having it laminated.

No offense, but pics or shens...I find that one hard to believe, but if it's true, that's freakin awesome...

how was he allowed to take it, shouldnt they be in a museum or being studied, i would have thought they would be of historical value that the government wouldnt want them to leave the country

*taps his sarcasm meter*

:sigh;

Sometimes things are too sad to even be funny....

QFT

man-made: I have about 6 very old, supposedly "rare" stamps.

not man-made: a volcanic rock that is supposed to be millions of years old.

I have a pair of 1897 Tula made Mosin Nagants.
One is a SIG barreled Finnish M24 and the other is a SAKO M39.

I have two $10 gold pieces, one from 1900 the other 1901. I also have a world atlas from 1896...the world was a different place back then!

It's not one of the oldest things I have, but I think one of the coolest ( and I have a scan of it already 😉 )

It's a four leaf clover that's over a hundred years old. It was my great grandmother's and is in a little book held together with string. On the front of the booklet it says School Supplies, Renville Minn. There's a pic of what looks like a mill and my ggm has wrote Book of Confirmation ( Catholic ) 1899-1900 on it. Inside is a list of names and dates for her classes. How much you think I could get for it on E-bay? 😉

Looks like SagaLore caught another one. Two fish with one hook! Wow.

Ok, I get that it is a joke, but what's the setup?

Some old metal globe I found in my great aunts shed, she gave it to me. It has Korea as one country, India has (Britain) beneath it, and Germany controls a good portion of Africa.

Quite the conversation piece.

Does that Atari have a sarcasm meter?

Probably the rocks in my aquarium. They're real oceanrocks, so i would imagine they're pretty old. The Antique Roadshow hasn't shown up locally yet, but i'll get it appraised when they do.
