War will then become a meaningless game played by the elite.
You won't have just nations fight wars any more either, large corporations will be able to join.

Gates will turely be able to take over to world with his robot army(he's got the money)

Nothing will ever top that because without it we will eventually kill each other off due to our violent, sheep-like, and ignorant nature.

ROFLMAO.

That is one of them technologies I have mix feelings about.
Sure while it would be great to remove genetic diseases and health problems, while in the process someone(I included) would try to make the "master" race.

While I would not use genetic engering for the sole purpose of making the master race things would just lead up to it. If you going to fix genetic problems(take near sightness) why only fix to normal human standards? Your already going to to trouble to tamper with genes why not improve them the best you possibly can instead of settling for "normal"

Having homo sapian and homo superior will only lead to a war with homo superior winning and the normal humans being oppressed. Homo superior will have no morallity

I think you misunderstand the concept.

It's about more than getting rid of diseases.

We are programmed to operate according to a certain personality.

Imagine a world where everyone thought for themselves. Where "sheep mentality" was not the norm. Where people logically knew that violence was pointless. Where everyone ENJOYED reading books on science and philosophy instead of watching music videos and playing PS2.

We certainly all wouldn't be alike. We'd all still have different opinions. It would just be a society of intellectuals. Diverse intellectuals, but peaceful, beautiful minded intellectuals nonetheless.

I'm not trying to be arrogant, or look down upon anyone, but I've always wondered by people behave so stupidly in life. Why don't they enjoy learning? Why do they do drugs? Why do they drink? Why are most guys turned on by a airhead with a big chest? Why do so many people blindly follow ignorant religions without trying to digest the logic of it?

I do none of those things. I've just always wondered why 99% of the population does.

Homo superior would have the superior morality, because strong intellect is the basis for a healthy morality.

Unintelligent people are the ones with corrupted or indifferent moralities.

We would live in peace if everyone was an intellectual, instead of a low brow "let's duke it out-mentality" drone, like most are.

Why are people so uncivilized? I believe most people are barely aware of their own existence. It's really pathetic.

I believe genetic engineering would help create "intellectually beautiful and independent" people. Sort of "superior humans" if you will.

.

Morality is an illusion and everyone has a differnt version of this illusion.
Some say it's immoral to kill. Some will say killing is immoral unless your life or the life of another is in dangaer(which is againt's the frist group).
Some say sex out of wedlock is immoral. Some will say sex for anyother reason than to make kids is immoral(regardless of marrage) Some will even say tamperin with gene pools is immorral, while others will think ignoring possible treatments for deadly diseases is down right wrong.

Morality can no more be coded into someone's genetic makeup any more than how to tie a shoe.

Idea's like these leed to genocide and master race complexes.

Gasoline made from cow poop

It may not change the entire world, but the political landscape is going to be shaken up quite a bit.

Organic sources for fuel are extremely inefficient... no combination of corn, cows or grain will replace oil, ever.

I think the best shot we have it solar power, since that's ultimately where all our energy comes from and it would be more efficient to tap it directly than to invest in indirect methods like raising cows or crops.
They made gasoline. Someday, oil prices will increase to the point where it costs more to extract oil from the ground and refine into gasoline, then to produce gasoline from cow manure (or other organic sources). Whether this is because of shrinking oil reserves or politics, someday this WILL occur.

There's a LOT of cow poop out there, and while some of it gets turned into fertilizer, a lot of it just goes (pardon the pun) to waste. So here we have a renewable resource (which is currently considered a nuisance) that is already being generated, and proven technology that is hoped to be commercially feasible in five years.

I hope that someday we will create solar harvesting plants that will furnish all our energy needs, but I think that day is very far away. You do realize that current solar technology is pretty inefficient too, right?

Genetic modification would lead to discrimination, not by the color of your skin or race, but by your DNA.

if you are thinking cold fusion or nuclear fusion, like someone else mentioned, explain...

i personally don't see how a new method of creating power could possibly change the way we live except allow us to use more electricity. cold fusion, being that its nuclear (typically using 'heavy water' as one of the ingredients), won't be any more widespread than current nuclear fission power. cold fusion would be made into weaponized forms but likely not used for the shear reason of it creating radioactive particles.
