What is the name of these type of puzzles?

Basic setup is you get 5 clues and have to figure out info about 4 or so people. Like what they ate for lunch, what they drank, where they work, etc. You use a grid to cross out possibilities based on the clues.

Oh I remember that one. As long as you think things through, it's not terribly complicated. Though, I refuse to do othersl ike it. But yeah, this is what the OP is talking about.

I got it. It's not that hard. I think you're on to something with the dates. That 2% thing is bogus.
