Valuable to me does not equal monetary worth... my house could burn down and the only (inanimate)thing I would be after is my collection of family antiques/photographs, including some that are over a hundred years old and from Spain. Gotta keep passing them down through the generations!

Monetary value? My car's worth $1800 or so, would be a lot more if I hadn't ran it into a stump. My PC's not worth all that much, probably about the same as my 27" Wega ($550).

Sentimental value? I have a drawing my sister did of my ex-girlfriend, plus a whole drawer of letters, cards, gifts, etc. from Sarah.

Most monetary value (beyond the usual car, house, etc.) - some diamond and sapphire jewelry.
Most sentimental value - some autographed books and some old family photos.
