NPR and PBS for me. I also watch the BBC, but prefer NPR of all of them.

OH YA I TOTALLY FORGOT NPR (because I was thinking more of TV/web news)!!! NPR AND BBCradio is THE BEST HANDS DOWN. although, they seem to be a bit left, but not too much, just a bit. Although my views are middle to conservative (even though i'm agnostic, don't really would like to own a gun, etc), I find NPR/BBC radio BEST.

It gets me through the day seriously. local NPR absolutely owns. I love all their programming. Their weekend programming RULES (car talk, sounds eclectic, science friday, etc).

People not listning to NPR, ESPECIALLY from friday-sunday is seriuosly missing out on some quality radio.

I find it amusing that the reporters on NPR call Pres. Bush "Mr. Bush." Although I don't hate our current pres, I just find that amusing, hehe.

Pretty much BBC and CNBC. I don't usually watch ABC/CBS/NBC, but I can stomach them even though I think they lean somewhat to the left occasionaly. Even though I'm a concervative, I can't stand to watch Fox -- it's pretty much degenerated into a big propaganda editorial draped in the flag instead of a news provider.

BBC for world news, but I don't care too much about the world. Day to day, I'll mostly watch CNN, because theyre somewhat impartial, not filled with pundits, and even though they lean left, they don't lean nearly as much as fox does, which basically wears it's bias on it's shoulders. CNN has better anchors, better documentaries, and aside from paula zahn and maybe wolf blitzer, the least sensational reporting of the 3 big ones here. Turn it on during the daytime, and theres actually a lot of well reported stories about the world in general, scientific discoveries, human interest etc - turn on fox news, and the world is crashing down on you, its a FOX NEWS ALERT every 30 seconds. Oh noes, a single engine plane crashed in a field in wisconsin...ALERT ALERT WE'RE ALL IN DANGER...give me a f'ing break.

Although when any of the 3 start talking about gossip like that girl from aruba, elian gonzales etc etc, like its REAL news, I just turn them all off.

hmm .... I Have no respect for fox news, cnn, or msnbc.
NBC, CBS, and ABC all talk about gossip/crap on their news shows.
Thus, No news networks are respectable.

it was MSNBC, then they decided to start airing that fecal Countdown show...what a waste of cable programming.

FOX is bearable, other than that they're all crap. I watch the Daily show for laughs, not for news.

Yep, NPR & BBC rocks

CNN.com/Howard Stern/Comedy Central/BBC But for real news, I tune in to NPR every morning in the shower and car rides....

Sad that Howard and Comedy Central have much better news reporting than most nightly news prgs....
