I don't mind money, I just want to go over 220. Is there a motherboard that can do that. I mean not one out of two-three but every one. I know NF7-S is not such a mobo since I have one that cannot go anywhere much over 200.
Epox dies on me, MSI are crap and so are Gigabytes. Anything better?

I've had good experiences with my Leadtek. I don't see many around here though :(

I've had my FSB at 225 for awhile, too high of a Vcore though, so I backed down.

Asus? Most MBs don't go over 220. You're overclocking the NB once you get past 200, so anything you get is "free." None of them are guaranteed to hit a certain speed.

Abit NF7(S) and Asus A7N8X (deluxe) are usually named at or near the top.

Besides the NF7-S, you might wanna look into DFI Ultra Lan Party REV B. It's a bit steep on price though.

i tryed all three of them and it was close
but i would give the upper hand to the abit board (with the ultra 400 version of the chipset)

Perhaps something else might be holding you back like your Ram, or you dont have a lucky cpu? up the voltage on the chipset etc.

People have hit 235-245 with NF7s, the Asus A7N8X does 220 no problem, Epox 8RDA+ or 8RDA3+ should hit 215:

check this database out:

Overclockers Database

Select say Barton 2500+ from AMD processors and what do you see? anyone who his 2.4ghz + has the 3 motherboard i just mentioned to you above contributing to the fact they are great overclockers.

Great mobo. Currently running my TBred A 1700+ at 1.9 with PC2400.

I'm running the Abit myself(NF7-S rev2.0). Just got this rig together so I havent pushed her much yet but the options available in BIOS are outstanding. 1Mhz increments for FSB. And the onboard audio is superb. And it only cost $100. of course right after I bought it they had a sale and it was $90 on Newegg......figures
