Parkas are too warm most of the year. Light rain jackets are popular year around. When it rains in the warmer months, it almost always causes the temperature to drop below 70. In the winter, it's usually 40s-50s. Drizzles most days here.

What is interesting and probably while many of the hottest people don't come from Oregon ;).

While you have the #3 slot for one of your cities (Astoria) being in the top 10 wettest city list, Florida has 6,7,9,10 including the city I live and the city I work.

We use umbrellas.

In some places coveralls are pretty cool I hear.

Still using my Davek Duet umbrella! My first one broke after about two years of use, at which point I sent it back in the original box and got a replacement using their "unconditional lifetime guarantee". (Cost me about $30 to ship their way, they sent it back for free.) I actually get compliments on the umbrella from coworkers and strangers, which is a bit surprising but gratifying considering the cost. :p
