Unless she sold you certificates redeemable for sex acts (which you then lost), you still didn't lose an item with monetary value.
Fail fail fail.

You must really not like me to "nit-pick" for the last 30 minutes or so over a post I made in ATOT! :(

I suppose I failed in your hjo3 "approved" world!

My condolences hjo3, I hope you find some pleasure in the real world!

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say. Maybe you should use some more emoticons.

I lost a $600 SLR camera, lenses and bag, and my wallet and Armani glasses were also in the bag, so the total was closer to $1K. I had an Armani suit stolen by con men (about $600, but it was covered by my credit card's buyer protection). I lost my Creative Nomad MG, which ran me about $300 with an additional memory card.

My great grandfather left my mother a solid gold pocket watch that was from the early 1880's. It was really heavy and worth a fortune.. but to us it was priceless. After a few weeks of passing it on it me.. it was stolen from my apartment by some one i went to high school with that turned up at my door needed a place to crash for the night.

I am still crushed by that.

A gold pen with my name engraved on it that I got when I graduated university. Left it in a phone booth (duhhhh), went back 10 mins later and it was not in my organizer which was still neatly propped on the payphone. :(

I had the bad karma with me from stealing something a few years before, so I had it comin'.

A G-Shock watch. I got it for free, but I'm still disappointed that I lose things so easily.
