I think it was Copenhagen. Sure if you know how and where, it's not that expensive, but all this 7eleven shops basically rape your wallet and they outnumber normal shops five to one ;)

A $10/hr minimum wage and horrendous work ethic does that.

I didn't hate the French before I went. I hate them now.

You do know that many of the French tried to fight the 35 hour work week, right?

Paris is bad, and the government sucks. The French outside of Paris are not, but you generally have to speak French to discover that.

Did you stop by the Ferrari Store on Via Tomocelli(sp?) in Rome. That was unbelievably expensive as well. Nice stuff though.

damn it, I missed out on that :(
though, I must say I walked into a strip bar, and omg, 25 Euros for a small bottle of Heineken!

lol...I'm not surprised.

But in France, by far the most pleasant people (on the whole) were in Paris. The worst were in Eastern France in Metz...few tourists out there, no one speaks English.
