For me it was Monte Carlo, Monaco. I paid the equivelant of 9 US dollars for a bottle of coke!
Next, would probably be Oslo, Norway. Im not too good at converting NOK to US dollars but I knew it was expensive! How about you guys?

Did you stop by the Ferrari Store on Via Tomocelli(sp?) in Rome. That was unbelievably expensive as well. Nice stuff though.

Dublin was pretty rough. A 500ml bottle of coke was over $2.00 after currency conversion and VAT. You couldn't go out to eat for a typical mean for under $50 after conversion and VAT.

Easily 2x what I would pay for equal items here in the states.

Just head down to the Fox & Hound off of Basline and Staple in Gilbert. $2.00 pint nights on Tuesday. Anything they have on tap? $2.00. That includes Guinness, Tetleys, Bass, ect.

w00t!!!

At least that's the deal on the Fox & Hounds up here in Omaha.

We sold a rental property in Manhattan last spring that fetched $3.3M. That's pretty expensive so NYC.

The drive out there at $3 a gallon would make the discount null. ;)

Probably Oslo, but that was when I was a kid. The good thing of living in one of the most expensive cities is that when you travel everything seems so cheap all of a sudden.
